Re: web page contest |
Ah, but my books can be found on our Alma Mater's library shelves, probably in the hardback edition. You'll no doubt want the English version, not the French or German. And were I to send you a paperback (autographed, of course), what might I receive in return? Let me guess: O! The possibilities. A copy of Roger's program program to plot a cumulative graph of all quakes within 14 days of any quake of M 7.5 or larger? But that would, then, be Roger's present, and I can get it free for the asking. (Roger: Box 624, Aptos, CA, 95001. Mucho thanks in advance.) So let's see if that deceptively cute gear head of yours can come up with something really creative, such as "Seismology for Dummies." Nah. Even that would scare the living sh*t out of me living just 8 miles from the San Andreas, and 4 miles from the epicenter of the Loma Prieta EQ. I guess I'll have to let you use what little imagination you heiroglyphic types have. (Yawn.) So I'll quote the last line of one of my favorite novel's: "Surprise me." (An autographed copy of anyone of this board who can identify the book.) Cathryn Follow Ups: ● Re: web page contest - Cathryn 23:45:24 - 10/3/2003 (19589) (0) |
