Some things are not self-evident

anyway....

The stuff I've sent out is a DOS program which makes a graph on your screen and puts an output file on your hard disk. It will run under Windows too.

The dataset is all quakes 6.5 or larger from 1973-2002.

Any quake > 7.5 is taken as a main quake and everything within 2 weeks is added to the distance graph. When all main quakes are examined the graph is plotted on-screen.

Everything MAY include other main quakes, a possible problem.
