I believe that if there is going to be a fairly destructive earthquake somewhere I will often detect some warning signals for it. But things have been fairly quiet lately.

A powerful earthquake can occur in a remote area and I might not detect any signals for it. And some of the destructive ones get past me, but not many. Also, things can change dramatically in just a day. But as I said, they are quiet at the moment, even in the Yahoo EarthWaves board.

These are personal opinions.
