mag storm, Baikal and Missouri quakes

Hi guys and gals, There is an ongoing geomagnetic storm at pretty high Kp levels (right now) and it has been going on for a while. I think it had started by the time of a M2.7 in Missouri and a 5.6 at Lake Baikal, which is a rift area. Lowell always said that rift areas were sensitive, and intraplate quakes may be more sensitive to triggering. Of course, there seem to be plenty of flares and strong storms without such quakes, and plenty of such quakes without such storms. But, its kind of interesting anectodally (sp?).....

Coming back south on the west coast last night there was a very dark sky on route 101-nice milky way-the moon rose but was backwards-because I switch east and west when I am on the west vs east coast, and the setting waxing moon is oriented backwards from the rising waning moon....Back early to see Hurricane Isabel....
