SCEC in a week |
Chris, I'll be there, in fact I have two meetings on Sunday before the main meeting Mon-Wed. You'll see we finally found a very good correlation between some tides and earthquakes at the poster session. In fact, we think we can calibrate the amount of earthquake triggering as a function of the tidal stress. Since no one has accomplished this before I am a little dubious of our new results, which just resolved themselves in the last few weeks.
