SPECIAL NOTE

New Volcano in Indian Ocean

(Article thanks to David Thomson on Pinpoint.)
An underwater research team has discovered an unknown underwater volcano (seamount) on the Carlsberg Ridge in the western Indian Ocean. This area was the site of a recent 7.6M earthquake, and it continues to have aftershocks at the 5M level. See
