Hello, I also noticed that two of the creep meters in the SJB area haven't shown creep for longer than the long term average. Creep meter CWC3 looks like it's been flat for about one year now, and XSJ2 has been flat for about 8 months. The other two creep meters in the immediate SJB area-CWN1 & XHR2 look like they've been flat for about 4 months. The 4 month flat interval doesn't appear to be longer than normal before a creep event on the fault. The other creep meter-XMR1-to the south on the creeping section of the fault has been creeping along as normal. Guess we'll need to be patient and wait and see if this creep data will mean anything? Maybe a local event where the fault is locked or maybe a event off the San Andreas on a somewhat nearby fault? Or stretching a bit could it possibly be related to Parkfield where the creep meter to the south of Parkfield at HWY 46 has been creeping for the past three months(the San Andreas is thought to be pretty much locked where it crosses HWY 46 and to the south of there). Thanks & take care, steve s
