Coming: Earth and Sun Digest
Posted by Donald on July 10, 2003 at 08:37:52:

All,

With the consent of Canie I will tomorrow after lunch post my weekly Earth and Sun Digest for your use and comments.

Since the Digest is highly structured, part of this is really a test to see how well the structure fits this board's formatting. Since it will appear here in TXT format, it looses the color coding used for emphasis of unusual data, like 6M and greater quakes. For those desiring personal copies, the email version is free and is color coded. Just send me your name and email address. To remove your subscription, just reply with the word, "unsubscribe".

While I do not make predictions, the purpose of the Digest is to give the reader a data base with a weekly review. Currently I emphasize quakes 5M and greater in the world, all U.S. quakes posted by USGS on the Global board, and Mediterranean regional quakes, including from the Azores to the Indian Ocean.

The posting of the Digest is at my discretion and is subject to my availability, which so far has lasted three years. Archives for the past year are available elsewhere as noted in the Digest. Copying is free, but I would appreciate knowing of group publication.

Enjoy,
Donald Boon, Editor
