Hi Chris, I like your line of thinking, but I sort of have a question for you. The first item on your list in the Aleutian Islands I believe is volcanic. When it occurred I went from a link on the USGS site to one in Alaska and it mentioned the area being volcanic. Since then, there have been quite a few quakes. So, I'm thinking it doesn't matter if the quake occurs in a volcanic area or not, but do you think that is correct? Maybe you could elaborate on this a bit.
