Hi Don & All,

I just finished writing a nice long post, but when I hit the post key I got a warning message that the Department of Congress thought something I said might be a problem. I clicked back and my message in its entirety was erased.

So, I'll cut the chase here and forget the rest. Our friend Don is not feeling very well these days and is in a lot of pain. He's been through countless tests and has more tests to come, but as for treating his pain now, they do nothing.

I want to say these words so Don can read them and the rest of you as well. There is no better best friend than Don. He is caring, funny, really smart and loves to share what he learns with other people. I know for a fact if he and I had not become friends I would not be alive today, so to say I owe him my life, I do.

I have been praying he will get proper treatment, be more comfortable and hang around with us a lot longer. I hope all of you will join me in saying how much we have appreciated his posts here and how his contributions have taught all of us many things.

I also hope that you too will remember him in your prayers as well.

Petra
