Communications resource

Petra, the information at my Web sites should be understandable to just about anyone who has a good high school education in physics. But it also requires that they spend some time on reading and attempting to learn what the data mean. And I know from my e-mail and other types of feedback that some people do take the necessary time.

That feedback also tells me that this bulletin board is visited by at least some international researchers. And the notes that I post here are often intended to be progress reports for their review. It is really too much trouble for everyone to constantly check individual earthquake Web sites such as mine to see if any new information has been posted to them. However, a note posted here lets people know when it is time to do that. As I have said in the past in “Thanks” notes to Canie, this bulletin board provides us with a convenient and somewhat protected communications resource.
