Hi Chris. Fair enough. For more then 3 years I was receiving data from a group now known as “geoForcaster” with the stipulation that I not divulge what it is. I learned what the data was and how it is derived. For more then a year I was allowed to use the data to make forecasts. Because I know what it is and how it works I learned that there are certain areas that are very sensitive to the data. When the data is present I can see the results of it. Being as how I’m sort of old fashion in that I believe a persons word is their bond I can’t and won’t divulge what the data is, or how it is derived. My first clue were the quakes at the Lower Lake area. It wasn’t so much as to where they were occurring, but the way they were occurring.

We also had a number of solar flares. While there wasn’t any one single solar flare that had enough X-rays to trigger a quake the accumulative affect could. Being as how the area of the geysers is volcanic in nature, and in as much the Maacama Fault cuts down to the mantle plus I was seeing the action of the data I tried to get my forecast location as close as I could to that fault.
