Hi Kiddo. “Don’t get your knickers in a twist.” I haven’t worn knickers since I stopped wearing knee pants, which was a couple of years ago.

Anyway I just wanted to point out that if your have a quake forecast program that works you won’t have a problem making your forecasts public and before the quake occurs. Of course being an amateur I don’t know that. Of course I don’t get 100% of them. No one does, but at least anyone who wants to get a pretty good idea as to what may be coming up they can.

A quake-forecasting program isn’t any good if you have to wait for the quake to occur and then tell everyone why it did. You’re supposed to do that before the quake occurs. It doesn’t do anyone any good if you can’t give the date, latitude/longitude and magnitude before it occurs. That is what quake forecasting is all about. I’m not asking anyone to make their forecast tighter then mine, but to make it so that it has purpose and meaning by using my parameters at the very least.

If you have a program that works you have to prove it over and over again until there is no doubt about it being a useful program. To make a claim that you have a program that allows you to forecast a quake without proving it by making a forecast before the quake occurs isn’t good enough.

Of course being an amateur I have to do things the hard way. Anyway that is my personal opinion for what ever its worth. Take Care…wearing long pants now Cowboy
