What ARE safe places in a grocery store? While my daughter worked in a department store during a San Ramon earthquake several years ago, pieces of ceiling fell. In any store I'd want protection from that hazard. Flying glass bottles and other heavy items in a grocery store are dangerous too. Is the cereal aisle safe?
