Hi All,

Remember the rules of this contest gave each city named a 40 mile radius, thus we have a few more winners than you might expect.

Stating Eureka were: Manda & Cathryn

Stating Petrolia were: David, Canie & Ellen

Stating Cape Mendocino was: John Vidale

Therefore we have six winners because Petrolia and Cape Mendocino are only 19 miles from today's epicenter.

Now with this is some other suprising history. On 4/25/92 a 7.2 quake struck Petrolia causing widespread damage. Its only been just 3 days shy of being 11 years from that anniversary. How interesting.

Congratulations to all of the winners. It was an interesting contest with so many possibilities and I was starting to wonder if we would have to extend the time period again, but alas, not so.

Now its up to someone else who is creative to promote the next earthquake contest.
