Hi All. Petra has a good memory so I don’t think she is going to like the following data. She is correct in that there were 3 quakes in the immediate area. Those were from the NEIC catalog and were M>3.4, M>3.4 and M>3.1. They don’t list any quakes below 2.0 and sometimes not even those. The following quakes were taken from the ANSS catalog. All of the quakes are inside a 5 mile radius.

There were two swarms. The first was in Dec. 1981 and is about 100 yards east of the Corona/Adobe Road. A couple of the quakes occurred just to the west of Adobe Road and about 30 yards from where she stopped.

The second swarm of quakes was in Jan. 1987 and is under Sonoma State College. I haven’t been able to find any fault listed on the map in this location. The Rodgers Creek Fault is about 3 miles east of the college. The Rodgers Creek Fault is listed as having a width of 10Km so it’s entirely possible that the 1987 swarm was associated with the Rodgers Creek Fault.

The mini PBO site proposed for the Rodgers Creek Fault is 7.5 miles south of the 1981 swarm. Take Care…Don in creepy town
