Gosh, I am so impressed with the response on this contest, I can hardly believe my eyes.

Insofar as rules clarification, Parkfield is considerably south of the line from Monterey to Mammoth, so it fits into the Southern Segment. However, you can either leave your posts as they are, as its highly unlikely the old PKD is going to delivery anyway, or if you like, you have the opportunity to change your posts if you so desire at this time. I'll give you until 6PM on 4/4 to make your changes if you fit into this category, or any other where the North and South divide are in question. I want to give everyone a fair chance at getting all the hits they can.

We just have to remember, the person who follows the rules has a better chance of winning if there becomes a bone of contention. In other words, if one poster gets a hit on a city in the north and Parkfield and listed Parkfield in their southern list, has another opponent who listed Parkfield in the North, gets it and another match, then the person who followed the rules and correctly listed Parkfield in the Southern list would be more correct.

As they say, "Life Is In The Details" and as we all know science is full of details. So have at it those of you who wish to make changes and I sure hope we get some shake, rattle and roll to make this contest even more exciting. (Please post your corrections under your initial posts for ease in reading.)
