Hi Chris,

Yes I did see your compliment and thank you very much, but I was just interpreting data. I have to say Thank You to Lowell for teaching me how. At least there are some things I do remember as this one was a synch.

I wish you would find your way to No California more often and study some faults up here. It would be nice to say hello again and talk about some data that's a little closer to home.

Speaking of which, the new instrument package for the Rodgers Creek Fault is going to be installed in Sonoma just a hop skip and a jump from where I work, so one day, soon I hope I'll get to see how this all comes together.

And last but not least, they think they have figured out our "sick building problem." Rodents! Mice, squirrels and rats in the ceiling. So we have this week to continue the commute to Walnut Creek while they exterminate and they are also going to install some kind of electric light inside the air cleaners which kills all kinds of material. I forget what they call it, but that's supposed to make the cleaner zap 99% of all the stuff that floats in the air.

I never imagined what it would be like to commute 4 hours a day and now that's I've done it, if at all possible, I'm not going to do it again. It really is the pits. Actually, its more stressful because your work backs up while you're sitting on the freeway. Ah, such is life.

Have fun on your trip, the weather has been pretty good of late.

Petra
