John, I wanted to begin discussing those data right after they were posted. But another important project has been keeping me busy.

Some of the main points here are that it is important that we learn as much as we can about why earthquakes occur when they occur. Those data look both significant and important to me. These types of studies are extremely easy to do for experienced scientists. And it amazes me that in all these years and even decades, earthquake researchers have from what I can tell not already thoroughly explored this area of science.

I started to try to determine what that probability is but again ran into an available time problem. Do you recall what the formula is? If I remember correctly it is something like:

(100/21)^16 + (100/21)^15 + … (100/21)^7 chances in (100/21)^17. I believe that would be something like 1 in 4.
