Hi EQF. That is true, but here is the number of childern that it took. It was by no means a easy task. Also no mention was made as to how far the seismograph was from the childern. Take Care...Don in creepy town Brits got a jump on a new World Record as one million jumping children successfully caused an earthquake. Scientists said a million children with an average weight of 110 pounds, jumping 20 times in a minute, would release two billion joules of energy and trigger the equivalent of an earthquake measuring three on the Richter scale. Children were surveyed before the event to make predictions on the outcome. Perhaps the most accurate prediction came from this child, who said, “There will be lots of hospital visits from people with sprained ankles.”
