Thanks for the research. If I counted correctly it appears there were only 3, magnitude 5 quakes in the past, so this is a rare event to exceed that number.

While I agree with Canie, most of the time So California seems to get hit after these Mexico events, other data coming to me seems to suggest more increase in the area of San Francico Bay.

Should be interesting to watch and see what shows up in the next two weeks.
