Progress report

This effort to produce a GIF file which shows earthquake occurrence times plotted against things such as the Earth acceleration in space etc. is progressing nicely though it is requiring a lot of time and energy. Something that is surprising me is how just about everything that I am looking at appears to be linked with the positions of the sun and the moon in the sky, specifically the longitudes of the locations on Earth which they are directly above.

As I proposed in another note in this thread, it is vitally important that we learn how earthquakes are being triggered. And this type of research is relatively easy to do. Yet there do not appear to be any experts anywhere in this area of science. When I tell even experienced geophysicists about this work they respond that they have never heard of anything along these lines being done. And, that may be the main reason that the reports which I am posting here are not resulting in any lengthy technical discussions. No one knows anything about the subject matter. That just amazes me!
