Hi John. The fault map I have doesn’t show any faults crossing under Big Bear Lake, but I suppose there could be one. It isn’t too uncommon for the next large quake to occur at or near the ends of the ruptured zone of the previous large quake. It’s just another series of quakes that will have the seismologist and others looking for answers.
