Thanks for the answer to the question. About six months or more ago I was reading about the funding for Earthscope in the Parkfield area and the cost was listed at $17,000,000. However, at a later date I was reading an NSF funding report in which Earthscope's budget was in excess of 100 million. However, if I understand Earthscopes project in the larger sense, it is not one single project, but several in different locations.

Sometimes its hard to ferret out all of the details unless someone wishes to spell it all out in one single place.
