I don’t know who the person you referred to who is posting notes to the Newsgroups might be. I usually try to contact anyone who claims in public that he or she can forecast earthquakes to see if they would like to compare notes. But I have not had time to do that so far in this case. And it has been my experience that this usually turns out to be a waste of time anyway. With the exception of Shan who posts notes to this bulletin board, few earthquake forecasters appear to be willing to share their data.
