Hi Canie. In case you are wondering why so many notes have been posted lately there are some good reasons including the following one which I regard as being the most important.

For years it has been my belief that earthquakes and some of their precursors are somehow linked with the positions of the sun and the moon in the sky. I expected that the link involved their gravitational pulls. But I could never determine what that link might be.

After finally learning how to interpret the data at that Grandunification Web site I decided to try to see if Earth acceleration forces might be the missing link. And my data indicate to me that this particular approach looks quite promising. In addition to circulating information about that I am also trying to get the international geology community interested in doing some research on this. And the situation at this time leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. It appears to me that many geology professionals do not even know how to interpret information being generated by Solid Earth Tide data generation programs. How they can expect to make any progress in the science of forecasting earthquakes or even understanding why they occur when they occur without being experts with regard to such matters is beyond me!
