Re: Hydroplate Theory : EQ mysteries/Plate Tectonic Failure to Explain |
Hi 2 cents. The very argument used by them shows they have no understanding of what evolution is. The Creationists wrongly believe that their understanding of evolution is what the theory of evolution really says, and declare evolution banished. In fact, they haven't even addressed the topic of evolution. The five propositions below seem to be the most common misconceptions based on a Creationist version of evolution. Evolution has never been observed. However the biggest objection I have with the Creationist is that they don’t want any other theory taught. They tried once before to have the evolution theory banned from being taught in schools. That failed so now they are trying to prevent any test question involving evolution there by causing teachers not to teach evolution. They have the right to their believes, but they do not have the right to censure the believes of others and that is what they are trying to do. If they want to believe the world was created in 10,000 years that is their right and is fine with me, but don’t try to make it against the law to believe anything else for which there is overwhelming proof. Sure the plate theory is flawed, but this isn’t because it can’t happen its because its not fully understood. However there isn’t a day that goes by that doesn’t add one more piece to the puzzle and one step closer to the time it will be understood. This is the very reason Creationist don’t want any other theory taught as it just makes theirs all that much more unacceptable. Take Care…Don the Pro-Evolutionist.
