LOL.... That's what they said about Plate Tectonics and continental drift not too long ago.... To think that a 'continent could drift' was quite a stretch and laughing stock material for quite some time...until that navy sonar man came along...then they stopped laughing AND, to keep those grants coming in, they had to start "puckering up" too! LOL.... And the kicker is that it was "Not Invented Here (NIH)...that is it was formulated by a non-geologist." Talk about adding insult to injury...puckering up to a theory formulated by a non-geologist!

As I mentioned, I had not finished reading it all so my firm conclusions have not arrived as yet. I shall see what comes from it...though you have no doubt read my early 'tentative conclusions' on it...

You are a PHD who maps/studies faults lines and does 3-d simulations of them so your claim that "I mean, I understand them, and I'm not a specialist in plate tectonics." is viewed quite skeptically. I'd say you lost about 33% credibility with me right then and there...so it looks like we are about even (maybe)....

Don't worry...tis "no skin off my nose" if you no longer read my posts...though I do have some zingers planned for the future.... Maybe if your "need to curiosly follow a bad link" meter is low you could respond to one of those future posts. After all, I aim to please.
