Canie, I've written an abstract on the structure of Marmara Sea in the North Anatolia fault zone. It is due to be submitted by Jan 15. It is controversial, as I think large anticlines in SE Marmara sea are contractional structures (very similar to southern California margin structures) while almost everyone else thinks they are due to stretching ("rollover anticlines"). I'll see how many of my 8 co-authors agree with the abstract enough to remain co-authors....2 have accepted so far.....We were turned down for funding to get data that would better image the structures...
