It's much more complicated than "breaks in these mantles." Mantles aren't "things." Mantle is the section of the earth between the crust and the outer core. Could you point me to studies on the relationship between "magnitics and earthquakes and volcanos?" I assume you mean "magnetics" i.e. the study of magnetism? The forces that cause earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are far greater than the forces that can be generated by magnetic means. Also, they are much larger than the tiny forces generated by an alignment of the planets. We went through this a few years ago when there was an alignment that was supposed to bring all kinds of disasters. Nothing happened.
