3D mapping

Hello Roger-you have been scarce lately. We have supplied all of our 3D fault maps to the SCEC community fault map. This map has not been publicly released yet-there is a web page on it but the address is not public, so I don't want to provide it until it is public. It should still be a couple of months. The amount of data on the total fault model is impressive. Right now, the data are used in a specialized software, but SCEC is working towards one being able to fly around all this on the web. To see the kind of things that are involved, you can go to the Harvard web page. If you can retrieve a 5 or 7 Mbyte file, I can put my NEHRP annual report on an anonymous ftp site-it shows some 3D figures. It should be on the USGS page below, but is not yet posted there. If you want it, please send me your latest email address (I probably have it, but would have to dig for it.

I have to make a map on the Malibu Coast-Santa Cruz Island fault for this....

One of my research pages has a 3D view or 2 of Ventura basin, but this is from a couple years ago and what we are doing now is much more advanced:
