Hi Canie,

I think we should make some plans to meet before you finish your schooling and then go to work and can't get away from that. You know how that is. I started my new job in March and got one week of vacation and saved it so I could go to the AGU. Talk about dedication. Many times I wanted to go to Parkfield and do more work in the cemetery and then kept thinking, no, if you go, then no AGU this year.

Of course I am dedicated to my work and they offer a lot of perks, including a special one for Christmas. They are taking us to lunch in the City via limo's and returning us to our doorsteps in the limo's as well. Mind you this is a big lunch, we don't expect to get home until at least 6PM. This is for all employees in 5 offices, which is a little over 200 of us. I know I'm planning on having a very good time. I just hope I can find the way to my door when I get here. LOL

So hang in there and keep working on your education, because someday I want to see you on the AGU roster giving an oral presentation. What a proud moment that will be. We're all rooting for you.

So, Go Girl Go!

Petra
