Hollister Quake Activity Down

Hi All. As a rule I don’t pay that much attention to the quake activity in the area of Hollister, but I think were getting near an all time low for quake activity south of Hollister. I’m use to seeing a lot of quakes along the stretch of the San Andreas fault between Hollister and the Pinnacles. Of course not all the quakes occur on the San Andreas fault as there are some very close parallel faults in the area.

On 3 different occasions there has been acceleration in creep at 3 different locations at the SJB creep data. Since this started we have had a quake on Quien Sabe fault and the San Ramon quake swarm. Some how I don’t think this is the cause of the acceleration, but not really sure what the cause could be. I have a couple of ideas, but nothing I can take to the bank. Take Care…Don in creepy town
