San Ramon & Mori An Interesting Combo

Hi All,

Don and I were watching Momento Mori tonight, just before the 3.8 struck and my cat Mr. Peaches started meowing in a wholely different way than normal. Within two seconds Mori let off a pattern which was really surprising for a 3.8. We saw bands going from the top to the bottom of the screen and waited, expecting to feel something.

Unfortunately I suppose we two quake chasers got no Wahoo's out of this series, but tonight flashlights will be very close.

Though these kinds of events are not uncommon for the area surrounding San Ramon, one does wait in anticipation of what may lie ahead. From the topo maps we could see a subdivision within 1/2 mile of the epicenter of this quake and I'm certain the residents are not feeling comfortable tonight.
