Petra and Don:
Some tones begin softly and increase in intensity - then they might or might not trail off gradually. Can you suggest a possible cause for that? I don't understand what Petra means by 'a circular sound, not a line'. Is that effect shown in the chart linked to Don's post? (Maybe I just haven't heard that kind of sound.)
