Re: Time Change - Does It Affect Earthquake Activity?

I thought more earthquakes occurred during changeover months (April and October) when people are adapting to changing time. Does earth senses more human confusion then? Ben Franklin might not have been serious when he suggested daylight saving time to save fuel, but my earliest school years were during year-round 'War Time' with clocks an hour ahead. My grandparents who farmed continued using the sun as a wake-up alarm. School started a bit later in the morning so we could walk there when we could see and be seen. Maybe those early habits lingered, because now I still would prefer year-round daylight saving time. Until that is legislated I'll continue wishing that all watches and all clocks built into household appliances contained a chip or other device to spring them forward in on appropriate dates in April and back in October!
