Hi Lowell. It is quite apparent I had my head where the sun don't shine on the recent 6.7 quake that occurred in Alaska, For that oversight I mush apologize to Petra for not seeing it. The pattern as viewed in the current status was seen prior to the 1964 M>9.2 quake in Alaska. Although not quite identical there were enough similarities that did indicate that a quake was more possible of occurring on the Dianle, which by the was the fault associated with the 1964 quake. The only exception were the absents of quakes in the UK. Just as to how much of a part they had in regards the recent quake in Alaska remains to be see.

The question remains was this quake the results of the movement of the Pacific Plate ramming into the North American Plate and a much larger quake is yet to occur in the Southeastern part of Alaska and will be much closer to the coast.

The Pacific plate in moving towards the northwest while at the same time the North
American Plate is moving towards the southeast. There is do doubt in my mind that the recent quake and or quakes has released some of the stress, but as to much remains to seen.

To observe things in progress is one thing, but to understand what is known is something all together different. With out the understanding it means nothing. I'm fairly reasonable sure Lowell that you can fill in the gaps. Then again I could be out in left field with this. Take Care…Don in creepy town
