Hi Jan,

Welcome aboard!!! The food in Parkfield is so good you wouldn't care if it came with a guaranteed 6, because on a scale from 1 to 10, the food is a 10 for sure.

From the biskits and gravy for breakfast, burger baskits or the BBQ Ribs and Steaks for dinner, there is no finer dining on the West Coast. I'm sure living in the Bay Area you've had more than your fair share of excellent dining, but The Parkfield Cafe can hold its own on any day. Not to mention everyone is friendly from the staff to the other guests. Don and I have had many unique and wonderful experiences visiting with folks from all over the globe who have visted when we were there. My favorites were the Canadians who came for bore hunting and got a 4.2. Lucky folks! They not only felt it, but saw it and heard it.

While Don and I have adopted Parkfield as our "home away from home", we are the two most unlucky people in being there when it happens. It never happens when we visit. But on the other hand watching Don licking his fingers after eating the ribs and thinking about licking his plate has a value all it's own. And he calls me weird!

All I can say is go there, experience something you've never experienced before and take a hearty appetite with you.
