There are a number of important objectives associated with this effort including the following:

*** My data indicate to me that many earthquakes are being triggered and some precursor times are being controlled to a large extent by forces etc. which are directly and/or indirectly linked with the gravitational pulls of the sun and the moon. And unfortunately, geologists and other scientists around the world do not appear to me to be making much progress in this area in part because they do not have the right types of data to work with. Part of this effort would involve storing the types of data which they need to have at a Web site where they can easily access it.

*** Earthquake precursor data would also be stored at the Web site so that scientists, government officials, and other interested parties around the world could easily access it and hopefully use it to forecast their own earthquakes.

*** Each earthquake related data line in one of the Web site files would contain time, latitude, and longitude information etc. for significant earthquakes. Also on that line would be links to news reports about the earthquake and information regarding how to contact relief agencies which were trying to provide medical help, food, and clothing to any victims of the earthquake.

Progress report:

I am presently talking with people who are running an Internet server which might have the necessary CGI program resources for this effort.

A CGI program is a type of computer program which you might find running at a Web site. These EarthWaves bulletin board notes are created by such a program which is running at the EarthWaves site. It processes the text data sent to it when you activate the "Submit" button on the EarthWaves board data entry screen.
