You're right...there's no explicit link to 'earthquake sensitives'.

I pretty much infered that based on the following:

1)The frequency is said to range from 30 to 80 Hz (which I think are elf frequencies which were initially reported by Fraser-Smith as happening before Loma Prieta (?)).

2) They claim to suffer from a common range of ailments, including headaches, insomnia, nausea, dizziness, blurred vision and nose bleeds. (I've seen sensitive web-sites where these types of things are reported with the idea of correlating them to quakes... maybe).

3) The vancouver area (at least) is seismically active...leading to the idea that they might be "hearing" a slow quake in progress maybe....

Of course, it might be tinitus for some...
