Since Don made his forecast for California, Oregon and Mexico a number of regionally significant earthquakes have occurred in these areas. I thought I would outline these here:

Mexico -
Guerrero - Ml 5.3 on Sept. 25 near Acapulco
Guerrero - Mb 5.0 today
Chiapas - Ml 4.9 yesterday

All these are the largest events within 100 km of their respective epicenters in more than 6 months.

Coast of Oregon -

Earthquakes of Mb 4.1 on Sept. 25 and 27 have
occurred in this region. These appear to be aftershocks of the Ms 6.0 on July 9 , 2002. Other
aftershocks of Mb>=4 have occurred on 7/22, 8/22,
8/25, 9/2 and 9/14.

Northeast:

A Ml 2.5 occurred in Michigan on Sept. 25. It
is one of the three largest events in Central Michigan ever recorded. Don had suggested an event likely in New York State. The Michigan earthquake may indicate regional activation - or not.

California:

Pinnacles:

A Ml 3.0 and 3.9 occurred hours after Don's forecast was posted about 10 km from the Pinnacles, CA.

San Jose:

Several hours later, a Ml 3.3 (listed by NCSN) was felt with intensity IV in the San Jose area. This earthquake has now been given Ms 4.6 by the USGS a significant increase in the magnitude. It is the largest earthquake in Central California
since a Ml 4.9 on May 14 and the second largest this year.
