HI All. About two months ago I received a phone call from a person living near Mammoth Mountain. I have no idea as to who this person is, but what the person told me I did place in my log. I didn't post anything at the time, as I had no way of confirming what was told to me.
Late last night I received a phone call from a person that used two words that told me that the person knew me. I can only speculate as to who this person might be, but that is not important.
What I was told both times are that there are a couple of wells north of the airport that are very hot. Temperature is around 260 degrees, and there are large amounts or CO2 and hydrogen sulfide being emitted. I have on little problem however and that is how does the person know that there are large amounts of CO2 being emitted. You can't see, smell or taste it
Some of you may believe this and some may not. I really don't care one-way or the other. What I can confirm I will post. What I can't confirm I won't post. Take Care…Don in creepy town.
