BODY OF MESSAGE: Hi Kate,

You don't know what I would give to spend tomorrow at Snoqualmie Falls. More than you could imagine. But you know what would be better in my eyes? To have a conversation with an intelligent human being on some far out topic and argue pro and con on the issue at hand. I can still remember talking to Senator Harrison S.c.h.m.i.t.t about what is was like to walk on the Moon. That was a stellar moment.

But in hoping on the bandwagon and submitting my best guess for a 9/11 earthquake, I'm going to say less than a 7, but greater than a 6 in Alaska. They have had a flurry of quakes of late and some in the high fives, so a 6 would not be out of the question. I'd say between Anchorage and Fairbanks in a NE direction.

I think everyone here could unanimously say they miss the input of our dear companion Lowell Whiteside. He has the knack of bringing so much together and none of us can hold a candle to him. But he's got his thing to do right now and it won't allow him to post here at this time.

However, I would like to extend an invitation to our scientific reading audience and ask that if it is possible, perhaps you might drop down from outer Internet and give us a hand down here in Internet. Your input I'm certain would be of great value to so many. If you've got ten, spend them here. We'd love to have your company.

Petra
