I am going to do some additional checking on PERL. Because of all of the calculations that this proposed forecasting program would need to do I expect that at least some versions of it would have to run in a compiled form. However, the fact that PERL runs so easily at Internet Web sites is a plus. And, a version of one of the important, already existing programs might have even been written in PERL.
