I keep a close eye on solar flare activity daily and I've noticed repeatedly that the flares often occur near Indonesia and that general area.

If you'll look at the maps which reflect large earthquake activity you'll find the majority have occurred right in the same location as the solar flare activity. It forms a nice string from Southern Japan to Australia.
