Hi Canie and Petra. Canie that's a great pic your friend took. Thanks for sharing it :-) We didn't wind up going to Rainier but that will be on my schedule for this coming weekend. We wound up going down to the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge which also happens to be the epicenter of the February 28, 2001 6.8 that struck this area. We then proceded to drive around the Sound and up to Bremerton where we hopped on a ferry and came back to Seattle. You get to take a little trip right over the Seattle Fault and you get incredible views of Rainier across the water. Hopefully I will get down to visit Rainier on Saturday.
