Hi all. I'm not sure whether the moon has any triggering effect when it comes to earthquakes or not but I found a nice link that some of you may enjoy :-) I can't sleep and got curious about large earthquakes in the PNW and what phase the moon was in when they occurred. The moon calendar that I found allows you to search between 3999 BC and 3999 AD. If you click on any particular date for more detail it will allow you to enter your lat and long and you can get more details about the sun and moon on any given date. Not sure if anyone will find this particularly useful but thought I would share.
