It took me awhile to find this one, but I remembered it as it was quite unusual. I heard the tone at the time the earthquake occurred, which was also at the same time there was an x-ray flux occurring.

Hi All,

Last night I had a left ear tone at the same time as the 4.7 off the coast of Northern, CA came in. Ah, real time, not ahead of time. The mileage that we have been using is also a match. Its 371 miles approximately from my place to the epicenter and using 37 mi per second times 10 seconds, I am one mile off in distance. Boy is this exciting.

When I had the tone it was a high pitched one and I told Don I thought it was 11 seconds long. My suspicions were up by Seattle, but as it went nw/rather than north, I'm not so far out of the ballpark, but need more help yet.

We learned this morning there was an x-ray flux which which started at 07:44UTC and went thru 07:47UTC. This may have triggered this quake.

I'm thrilled!
