Thank you so much for the link. While there wasn't anything in it that I didn't already know, there's a lot in there that most people don't know.

I know a woman who is a domestic violence survivor and she said the first thing she did was go and take some courses to learn all about being victimized so she would never be in the position she had been in. She's done a lot of teaching in this area and I'm very proud of her.

So the answer is of course, to learn as much as you can so everyone knows what these kinds of people are like and to avoid them as much as possible.

A friend of mine who is a professional numerologist told me that before I might give consideration to a permanent relationship with anyone to observe them for a minimum of four months. He said to take off the rose colored glasses and listen to everything they said. Find out what kinds of attitudes they had regarding certain matters. How to they feel about law enforcement officials for instance. Then he said to watch the body language. Check out those eyes when they didn't look straight at you. But beyond that, I don't think today it would be out of the question to go and find out if they have a police record for any kind of violence.

The article was dead right, these people lie like hell.
