Hi Cathryn,

While some might consider your state of health off topic, as you are a board member, and one I care very much about, you and your life are always "on-topic" with me.

While I know I have never been as ill are at this time, I do recall having mono for an entire year. I was constantly ill, feeling great pressure to continue life and totally incapable of doing so. Talk about being grouchy, I was the worst. I had bronkitis 11 times in one year and my little boy was only a 3 month old at the time and I was going to night school, with a full time job. I guess I bit off more than I could chew and the doctors figured I had eaten lunch in a restaurant that didn't serilize their silverware, thus being run down I was a perfect specimen for mono.

As for the contest, your global contest entry for the person making the closest guess to the epicenter of a 6.9 or greater quake granted you the winner of the Going Global Big Time EQ Contest. It took quite awhile to realize the results and unfortunately you were to ill to enjoy taking the winners medal at the time.

I so look forward to the day when you are feeling much improved and can more forward on your regular life and also ready to take on your professional writers life.

Keep on keeping on, we've missed you around here.

Petra
